Download story and patternJesus is coming back one day as king. And when he does, he will call those who believe in him to live with him forever in peace and joy. It’s not an easy path on this earth, as you have seen in some of these stories. Most people choose the broad road that seems easy, but ends up leading to destruction. But the narrow way— the difficult road—leads to life. (Matthew 7:13-14) How do you follow this narrow way? Jesus’ followers asked him this same question the night before he died. Jesus told them, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Jesus doesn’t leave us alone to follow him on the narrow way that leads to life. That same night, he promised his followers that he would send them God’s Spirit to guide them. And he said, “I am leaving you a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be afraid or troubled because I have overcome the world. Remember—I am coming back for you!”

Jesus says that if you ask God to forgive your sin and follow Him alone, then you will have life and peace. There is only one way to God, and that is Jesus.
