Based on Matthew 6:25-34
Jesus taught many things to his followers. One day, he was talking to them about what our lives can be like when we commit ourselves fully to God.
He goes on to say, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life–whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. There’s more to life than food and clothing! Look at the birds. They don’t every plant or harvest or store food, because God, our Father, feeds them. Aren’t you so much more valuable than they are? Look at the flowers of the fields. They don’t work to make their clothes, but not even our richest king is dressed as beautifully as they are. If God cares for these flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, he’ll care for you. Why don’t you believe that God will do these things for you? Do you think that your worries can add a single moment to your life? These worries about what to eat or drink or wear dominate the thoughts of those who don’t follow God, but God you Father already knows everything that you need. You primary concern, instead, should be to see God’s rule established and to do all that He requires. And he will give you everything you need.”
