Based on Mark 5:24-34
In one of the cities where Jesus traveled, there was a woman who had been sick for twelve years. She had spent all her money on doctors, but instead of getting better, she was only getting worse. She thought, “If only I could touch the edge of Jesus’ clothes, then I would be healed.”
One day as Jesus was walking through a crowd, the woman came up from behind Him and touched the edge of His clothes. Instantly she was healed.
Jesus stopped and asked, “Who touched Me?” because He had felt His power being used.
His followers were surprised, saying, “Look at all these people; how can You ask who touched You?”
The woman saw that she could not hide, so she came forward, trembling, and told Jesus what had happened.
Jesus looked at her and said, “Daughter, your belief has healed you. Go in peace—your suffering is over.”
